Two Column Notes

If you hear your child talk about two column notes, this is what they are referring to. We use them for reading as well as math:

Note That the left side is narrower than the right. The right side is for a word/concept.  The right side is for the student to expound upon that word/concept.  The emphasis is not only to write these notes, but to use them as a tool throughout the school year.
