Here's a look at one way we will be learning this year. I am pretty excited about it.

Congratulations Eagle Ridge Honors Fifth and Sixth Grade Math Students

They scored in the top ten percent of the nation for the 2012-2013 Math Olympiad Competition.  This achievement earned the team a special plaque of recognition.

Flex Students

It is understood that not all students have their giftedness manifested on a one time test.  Students who do not qualify for the Gifted Program, may still be included in direct instruction. If a student has demonstrated the potential to be successful in math/reading they may be placed in the gifted class. These placements are reevaluated every six weeks to ensure that the student is learning at his/her best rate. I encourage teachers and parents to look at the "Differences in Characteristics" located below. If it is apparent that most of these characaristics are present, then by all means we need to talk.  It is my desire to include as many students as possible to the program to help them reach their learning potential.
