Some Palomino 5th Grade Skeleton Models.......

Middle School Information

Dear Parents,

This is a reminder that we have our MS Honors Parent Night scheduled for next week, Monday, October 19th at 6:30 p.m.

Due to expanded interest in PV Schools gifted and talented middle school programs, we have changed the location to the Greenway MS cafeteria located a 3002 E. Nisbet Rd., just west of the District Administrative Center.

Parents of 4th, 5th and 6th grade gifted/honors students seeking information about middle school gifted/honors programs are invited to attend.

Dr. Brulles will provide an overview of middle school options for gifted and talented students.  Parents will have the opportunity to talk with the middle school principals and explore the services and programs available at each middle school.

We hope that you can join us!

Significant Objects from Our War of Independence:

These are the shells the British Leader,  William Howe mentioned in his journal of the events that occurred at Bunker Hill.  He had stepped on these when firing his musket and missed his mark. He was wounded from colonial return fire so had to be taken back to the ship.

At the time of the Revolutionary War, letters were the only way to communicate with those you missed.   This old letter was found at Valley Forge. It was written by William Duncan to his wife during that terrible winter when Colonial forces kept the British in Philadelphia from foraging into the country side.
